Top Wii Games

With Christmas fast approaching (or even if you read this after the Holiday Season) it’s a good time to get a handle on some of the most popular Wii games should you have someone on your gift-list that is just dying for the latest and the greatest. Following is a list of some of the most highly-ranked games (by user) and are provided here in no particular order:

  • Rock Band 3 returns with the third iteration of the popular music game featuring new songs and instruments. A proven winner.
  • Golden Eye 007 was developed exclusively for Wii and based on the GoldenEye film, GoldenEye 007 gives players the chance to use the lethal, gritty style of Daniel Craig’s James Bond to outwit, outmaneuver and overtake an arms syndicate that threatens the world in an innovative, modern take on the legendary GoldenEye movie.
  • And Yet it Moves s a puzzle-platformer, set in a unique world, made of ripped paper. Within the paper collage, you can jump, run and last but certainly not least: rotate the world. Learn how to apply the physical consequences of rotation to master the many tricky situations you may encounter.
  • Pictionary is the classic game of quick sketches and crazy guesses; and has innovative new functionality and game modes for the whole family! In addition to great classic Pictionary play, new features include rotating canvases, one-line challenges and other fun gameplay modes in a lively game show setting.
  • Sniper Elite makes full use of the Wii’s control system with movement and gestures, is compatible with the Wii Zapper, and contains new levels and a raft of additional features, making this game one of a kind.
  • Flip’s Twisted World is a unique puzzle platform that places the world literally in the palm of a player’s hand as they navigate topsy-turvy worlds where up and down, and left and right are only a matter of perspective.
  • Legend of the Guardians: The Owls of Ga’Hoole invites kids and fans of the film and the popular Guardians of Ga’Hoole book series to join an unlikely band of heroes as they take on the role of a Guardian, a winged warrior and protector of the owl world, in an epic story of good versus evil.
  • Shaun White Skateboarding puts an innovative twist on the action-sports genre, is the latest offering in the award-winning franchise developed in collaboration with dual-sport super-athlete, Shaun White.
  • Sengoku Basara: Samurai Heroes features unique playable characters, as well as supporting generals who will make it easier to command and lead armies, players will see the battle from the perspective of each military commander with the ultimate goal of re-writing history to rule all of 16th century Japan.

Of course there’s a ton more, but we hope at least a few of these will spark a chord to help wrap up your gift-giving dilemma this year!
