Yep, it’s that time of year again and you can bet that Apple has been on the bandwagon developing apps to get you and keep you in the season. Here are a few that are particularly fun and very season-appropriate.

• Pumpkin Ninja is a fun game that requires you to slice pumpkins in half as they fall on your screen (thus, the Ninja name).
• iDracula uses text messages and voicemails to retell the story of the most ghoulish of all Halloween characters Dracula. Bram Stoker would probably shudder in his grave, but it’s a whole lot of fun regardless.
• Scene It? Is a movie trivia game that uses video and sound clips from classic horror movies and even includes the use of some famous quotes from the films in an effort to stump anyone involved. Can you say “party game”?
• Halloween Soundlab turns your iPhone into a collection of scary sounds like a bemoaning organ, a creaking rocking chair, someone speaking in tongues, dragging chains, a haunting wind, and assorted screams.

There are a ton more to choose from and these have only been highlighted to whet your appetite (or maybe curl your blood?). Have fun with them this year as you embrace autumn and its own onset of weird and wonderful technology as Christmas begins its circle around the corner.
